Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after the free trial?
Your capped trial converts to your selected paid plan at the scheduled trial end unless you cancel automatic conversion first. If the free AI allowance is used early, you can start paid now to keep calls live.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Review the effective date and any charge in Billing before confirming a change. Upgrades on an active plan with the same billing interval take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades, billing-interval changes and changes during a trial take effect at the next renewal or trial end.
What counts as a "minute"?
Only time your AI is actively on a call with a patient. Setup, configuration, and dashboard usage don’t count.
Is there a contract?
No contracts. Monthly billing. Cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is my data secure?
Yes. SmadiDesk is built to support GDPR-compliant use. We encrypt data in transit and at rest, provide a public DPA for practice customers, and use contracted subprocessors to deliver the service. Customer data is handled through our contracted infrastructure providers. Some providers may process data outside the UK, and where they do we rely on appropriate legal safeguards.
